Categories of data collected
Through the contact form we collect: first name, surname, email address, telephone number (optional), company name (optional) and the text of the message. Through analytics cookies, where enabled with consent, we collect anonymous browsing data.
Purposes of the processing
- Responding to requests for information and quotations.
- Management of the contractual relationship and related obligations.
- Anonymous analysis of website browsing for statistical purposes.
Legal basis
The processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at the data subject's request prior to entering into a contract) for the contact forms, and on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) for anonymous browsing analytics.
Retention periods
Data collected through the form is retained for as long as necessary to respond to the request and, where a contractual relationship exists, for the periods laid down by applicable law (in particular tax and safety legislation).
Rights of the data subject
You may exercise the rights provided for by Articles 15 to 22 GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, data portability) by writing to info@forgest.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali, the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it).
Recipients of the data
The data is processed by the controller's authorised personnel and by external suppliers appointed as data processors (hosting, email, CRM). The data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area, save for the specific safeguards provided for by the GDPR.
The website is built and managed by FODI S.r.l. (VAT no. 03850250790, info@fodisrl.it), which, on behalf of the controller, looks after the technical side of the website and consults the Google Analytics statistics as a data processor (Article 28 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
