Module 1, Regulatory update and responsibilities (2 hours)
- Legislative amendments and implementing circulars relevant to the supervisor’s role
- Developments in case law on the criminal liability of the supervisor
- Changes to the penalty system and to reporting obligations
- Practical cases: analysis of judgments on accidents involving the supervisor
Module 2, Operational management of risks (2 hours)
- Update on the specific risks of the relevant production sector
- Correct use of PPE: checks, maintenance and hands-on instruction
- Safe working procedures: review and update
- Managing emergency situations: practical exercise
Module 3, Oversight and promotion of safety (2 hours)
- Advanced behavioural supervision techniques
- Assertive communication with workers: managing conflict
- Analysis of accidents and near misses: methodology and reporting forms
- Involving workers in prevention: practical tools for the supervisor
Objectives
To update the skills of supervisors in oversight, risk management and safety communication, in line with the periodic intervals set by the State-Regions Agreement of 21 December 2011, so that their role in the company’s chain of prevention remains effective over time.
