Objectives

Acquire the basic cross-cutting skills needed to perform the RSPP and ASPP roles, as a prerequisite for the Module B specific to the ATECO sector.

Final examination

Written multiple-choice test. A certificate is issued that is valid throughout Italy and recognised by the ATS (local health protection agency) and supervisory bodies.

Frequently asked questions

To become an RSPP you must complete: Module A (28 hours, common to everyone), the common Module B (48 hours) plus the Module B specific to your ATECO macro-sector, and Module C (24 hours, RSPP only). For ASPP, Modules A and B are sufficient. The RSPP qualification also requires an upper secondary school diploma.

A five-yearly refresher is mandatory to maintain the RSPP/ASPP qualification. Its length ranges from 40 to 60 hours depending on the relevant ATECO macro-sector, under the State-Regions Agreement of 7 July 2016.

Partly, yes. Module A can be delivered in blended form (part distance learning, part classroom). The practical part of Module B requires physical attendance.

Module A issues a partial certificate that must be completed with Module B and, for RSPP, Module C. Only the full pathway qualifies a person to perform the role under Article 32 of Legislative Decree 81/2008.
