Note on duration by risk class
The State-Regions Agreement of 21 December 2011 establishes that the duration of the five-yearly refresher for the employer acting as RSPP varies according to the company’s risk class:
- Low risk: 6 hours
- Medium risk: 10 hours
- High risk: 14 hours
The frontmatter of this course states the minimum duration (6 hours, low risk). Employers acting as RSPP in medium or high risk companies must attend the corresponding supplementary module (4 and 8 additional hours respectively) in order to reach the number of hours required for their risk class. The programme below sets out the common core (6 hours), indicating the additional in-depth content required for medium and high risk.
